OPTIONAL EMPLOYEE COVERAGE

Your employer provides a benefit plan to cover the essential needs of most of his employees.  He cares about your health and well-being and strives to give you a level of coverage that will assist with day-to-day expenses as well as catastrophic events such as death or disability.  But it’s not all up to your employer because he doesn’t know your needs or how you’ve planned to meet them.  It’s up to each individual plan member to determine the amount of coverage you need to protect yourself and your family.

Many group insurance plans make it easy and affordable to purchase extra coverage by including Optional Life Insurance and Optional Critical Illness as part of your benefit plan.  You can purchase and pay for it through payroll deduction, and you can even cover your spouse and dependent children.  And best of all, depending on your insurance company, you may even can qualify for up to $50,000 of Life Insurance and/or Critical Illness protection without medical evidence!

Sample Costs (rates as of March 29, 2016)
